Property flooding claim against Road Commission dismissed because landowner waited too long

Gloria Schneider's case against the Oakland County Road Commission arising out of the flooding and destruction of her property was dismissed because she didn't file suit within one year of suspecting that actions of the Road Commission in paving her road had caused the flooding. Since she and her husband "always thought the road was a problem" they were required to file their suit within one year of the paving in order to comply with the one-year discovery statute even though they had no professional proof of their suspicions.
