New crib recall
On June 24, seven crib manufacturers announced yet another recall of unsafe baby cribs. The list of manufacturers pressed to issues recalls by the Consumer Product Safety Commission included Child Craft, Delta Enterprise Corp., Evenflo, Jardine Enterprises, LaJobi, Million Dollar Baby and Simmons Juvenile Products. As has commonly been the case, drop-sides are one focus of the suffocation danger. The Chicago Tribune reported that the recalled cribs are associated with 32 known deaths of infants.
