Multiple lawsuits against USAA for using outside auditor who uniformly rejects medical claims.

The Texas insurer, USAA, was sued again this week by customers denied reimbursement for auto-related medical expenses.  This claim was filed in Oregon, and is the third similar class-action filing against USAA in the past several  years.  A class-action filed in Arizona was settled last summer. An Illinois class action was reportedly settled for 35 million dollars in 2005. The allegedly-sham reviewer utilized by USAA is Alabama-based Auto Injury Solutions.
