Disputing PIP insurers grapple over domicile issue
Farm Bureau and Bristol West continued their dispute over responsibility to pay PIP benefits to an injured family this week in Wutwut v. Farm Bureau. Bristol West had secured from the trial court summary disposition of its claim that Farm Bureau owed one-half of Tabarak Wutwut's PIP benefits. Farm Bureau over-turned this result on appeal, preserving its right to a jury trial on the factual issue of which home constituted Wutwut's "domicile."
