Court upholds prior intentional infliction of emotional distress judgment against spouse

In Fernandez v. Fernandez, the Court of Appeals upheld a judgment in favor of the divorcing wife, against her husband, arising out of his abusive and assaultive behavior. The award was only $10,000.00 and the reviewing judges concluded that there was ample evidence to support the theory of outrageous conduct by the defendant.
