Court upholds jury verdict against family claiming "stalking" by neighbor's kids
Travis Turner sued his neighbor, Gail A. Pellot, a/k/a "Wanda," arguing that she negligently failed to supervise her sons and that the sons were stalking, threatening and intimidating his family. A jury heard arguments in the case and ruled that Pellot was not negligent in supervising her sons. Turner appealed, alleging multiple errors in the jury instructions and lower court procedures. The Court of Appeals rejected his complaints and held that errors made in the lower court did not result in a denial of substantial justice.
