Court reverses summary disposition granted to Citizens Insurance as too harsh

In Stroman v. Citizens Insurance Co., the Court of Appeals reinstated the plaintiff's case against the insurer after the trial court summarily dismissed it as a sanction for responding inadequately to discovery.  Apparently the plaintiff was incarcerated during the discovery period, perhaps explaining his diffculty in responding to requests, and the trial judge did not adequately explain whether a lesser sanction wasn't appropriate.
