Conversion claim relating to a decedent's estate must be pursued in Probate Court
The Estate of Thomas Schultz attemped to sue several individuals for converting the assets of the decedent to their own benefit when Schultz was no longer mentally competent. The Court held that even though the Estate alleged only a "simple negligence action for conversion," jurisdiction over the dispute belonged in the Court managing the administration of the Estate.
