Avastin taken during chemotherapy increases risk of blood clot by 1/3

Reuters reported that an analysis of 15 clinical trials supported the conclusion that taking Avastin during chemotherapy results in a significant risk of clotting-related complications.  The study included a total of 8000 patients and was published in the Jouranal of the American Medical Association.
