Another defective Chinese product investigation: Ford tire valves.

The Record-Eagle for October 22, 2008, reported that the federal government is investigating defective tire valves on more than a million Ford vehicles:  apparently everything built during the pertinent model years except heavy duty trucks and vans.  The valves are manufactured in China.  Maybe this explains the performance of another Ford-managed enterprise:  someone let the air out of the tires of the Detroit Lions, as well, apparently.
