Home Depot charged with refusing to pay overtime to Assistant Managers
Bloomberg.com reported this month that a lawsuit has been filed against Home Depot, alleging that it violates state minimum wage law by refusing to pay overtime to Assistant Managers. The suit was filed in Illinois and alleges that the assistants are fired if they refuse to work mandatory 11-hour-per-day shifts, thus violating Illinois law governing which employees are entitled to wage and hour and overtime protections.
