Court overturns trial judge; summarily dismisses race discrimination and retaliation claim
In Bello v. Ford Motor Company, the trial judge refused to grant summary disposition to Ford Motor in a case alleging race discrimination and retaliation (following a complaint of discrimination against Bello's supervisor). Ford appealed and the higher court held that Bello's proofs were inadequate to support even an argument of discrimination or retaliation. Therefore, Ford was granted summary disposition.
