Court holds employee did not establish adverse employment action under Whistleblower Protection Act
In Woodrick v. Niles Charter Township, Ms. Woodrick alleged that her employer retaliated against her for failing to comply with a request to approve an improper land use. The trial judge summarily dismssed her claim and Woodrick appealed. The Court of Appeals held that since she was not otherwise legally entitled to claim a salary increase, the denial of any increase was not actionable as illegal retaliation.
